Reflection on a Haiku

Sadness
Is not
Like a poison
I believe
It is more
A bitter bitter fruit
That must
Be eaten for
The necessary nourishment
It provides....

Shared sadness is enriching and proof we are possessed of hearts.

Without sadness a portion of our character will always remain unbuilt.

jenh -
When it is my dose,
That needs doing,
I try to chuckle,
Between the tears,
To keep my heart,
Clear of fears..

A reflection on my own writing thanks jenh!

Nice poem and blog.
I couldn't agree with the sentiment of the poem more.

Thanks

Sometimes eating another's sorrow
can be good for our own soul.

You are so perceptive Anonant.

Stephanie - A steep hill is a climb, a mountain an endeavor, a lifetime on the other hand is always fatal and therefore every second precious good or bad.

Andy - Life is a fatal application of experience. :)

Cynthia - Like beer and hard spirits it is an acquired taste. :)
peace
To all of you thnx for the comments.
