What painful-hope can be found in,
A bomb strapped to a child-heart,
By an angry-loving father,
Sent to visit those others,
Called not fit to be brothers,
Paradise-promised by one who talks to his god,
I find such a cruel and hateful deity,
Deserves not worship but pity,
No pious supplication,
Only intense renunciation,
And it’s idols ground to dust.

Islam at it's heart is peace. Those who would allow a child to do a man's duty are not followers of Islam.
The world is a sad and horrible place that makes people think these actions are options to be used.
Thoughtful.
Rock on!
Anoymous - We should police our brothers when they begin to hurt others, especially when those hurt are kids.
Rex - Thanks for the post. The world is a horrible place and it is sad, but it is our response to these conditions that define us. Violence begets violence ...
peace
I have no angst with Islam any more than I do Christians or Jews. Monotheisits all.
I do not believe that a sucide bomber, no matter how convinced he isto the opposite, is a true member of Islam any more that the IRA were really Christian.
As anonant is fond of saying:Peace.
CJ - Thanks for the visit.
This was reflection from Gulnaz's response to the Mumbai attack.
